Jessica Marie Alba (American actress, businesswoman) is Jessica Marie Alba. She began her television and movie appearances at age thirteen in Camp Nowhere and The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994) however she became famous at the age of 19 when she became the main actress in the popular television show Dark Angel (2000-2002), which earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Honey (2003) was her first big screen appearance. She quickly became a Hollywood star and has starred in a variety of box office smashes, including Fantastic Four (2005) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). The company sells consumer products such as household and personal products. Numerous magazines such as Men's Health, Vanity Fair, FHM, and Men's Health have included her on their lists. Jessica Marie Alba was conceived in Pomona to Catherine Louisa (nee Jensen) and Mark David Alba. Her mother is of Danish, Welsh, German, English and French ancestry, while her paternal grandparents, who were born in California and both were children of Mexican immigrants. She has a younger brother named Joshua. Gustavo Arellano (her third cousin) is her father in biological form. Her father was an Air Force pilot who took her family to Biloxi and Del Rio in Texas. Her return to Claremont, California when she was nine years. Alba says that her family is a traditional, conservative, Catholic, Latin American family. She calls herself liberal and says that she was feminist at five years old.
